Andhra Tenali Veterinary Student, Passed Away  in US Car Accident

Jetti Harika, a veterinary medicine student in the US, was Passed Away in a multi-vehicle road accident in Logan County, Oklahoma, on Saturday.

Jetti Harika, a 25-year-old veterinary student from Tenali, Andhra Pradesh, died in a car accident in Logan County, Oklahoma, on Saturday, July 20.

Harika had moved to the US a year and a half ago to pursue postgraduate studies in veterinary medicine. She was one of the victims in a multi-vehicle crash near Highway 74, as reported by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP).

The OHP stated that one person died and four others were injured after a driver lost control of their vehicle due to adverse weather conditions, leading to a collision involving three vehicles.

The Telugu community in both the US and Andhra Pradesh has been deeply affected by the news. Harika's family and friends are now seeking assistance from the government to repatriate her body to Tenali for the final rites.
