NRI Republic Day Celebration: TANAs Nellanela Telugu Velugu Pays Tribute to Indian Patriots

Chicago, USA: TANA President Niranjan Shringavarapu announced that the North American Telugu Association (TANA) will host an event called "Nellanela Telugu Velugu" on the 25th of this month, in collaboration with the World Literary Forum.

Niranjan, along with TANA World Sahitya Vedike coordinators Chigurumalla Srinivas and Dr. Prasad Thotakura, shared that the event will feature a special monthly Telugu Velugu program titled "My India's Republic Day." This program, set to coincide with the 76th Republic Day celebrations, will focus on themes of patriotism, showcasing national pride through patriotic songs. The event will take place on the last Sunday of the month.

Retired Major General Nandiraju Srinivasa Rao and retired Lt Gen K. Ramachandra Rao, both of whom have dedicated over four decades of service to the Indian Army, will be honored as special guests at the gathering.

Dr. Prasad Thotakura further revealed that renowned singers will perform patriotic songs, with contributions from retired Akashavani artists, famous lyricist and composer Lalitha Sangeetha Chakravarthy, along with Krishnamohan, Gayatri Narayan, Ravuri Madhavi, Seelam Ramana, and MRK Prabhakar. The organizers have invited all literary enthusiasts to join the event through the monthly Telugu Velugu International Internet Visual Conference, hosted by TANA World.
