Los Angles, USA: The North American Telugu Association (NATS) has been actively organizing various initiatives for the Telugu community in the United States. One of their notable events, the 5K walkathon, took place at Simi Valley in Los Angeles. Hosted by the NATS Los Angeles chapter, the event garnered a positive response with over 100 local Telugu and Indian participants.
The walkathon was organized to honor the legacy of Padma Vibhushan Ratan Tata. At the event’s outset, NATS leaders emphasized that the true tribute to Ratan Tata would be continuing his legacy of service.
Leaders from NATS also reflected on the immense contribution and spirit of service displayed by Ratan Tata throughout his life. Special acknowledgments were made to key individuals who supported the event, including NATS Board Secretary Madhu Bodapati, NATS Programs Vice President Srinivas Chilukuri, National Coordinators Kishore Garikapati and Rajalakshmi Chilukuri, and Zonal Vice President Manohar.
The event also saw the participation of NATS Los Angeles Chapter Coordinator Murali Muddana, Joint Coordinator Bindu Kamisetty, Presidents Siddharth Kola, Srinivas Munagala, Radha Telaga, Aruna Boyineni, and Guru Konka, along with Co-presidents Padmaja Gudla, Saroja Alluri, Harish Ande, and Mukund Paruchuri.
NATS Board Chairman Prashanth Pinnamaneni and NATS President Madan Pamulapati expressed their gratitude to all those who contributed to making the event a success.
