NATS Expands to Omaha: Telugu Community Unites with New Chapter Launch

Omaha, USA: The North American Telugu Association (NATS), which has been supporting the Telugu community across America, has made its presence felt in Omaha with the launch of a new chapter. The official inauguration of the NATS Omaha chapter took place at Nawabi Hyderabad House in Omaha. Muralidhar Chintapalli has been appointed as the chapter coordinator for the new Omaha chapter by the NATS board.

Srinivas Mallipudi has been designated as the joint coordinator, while other key roles have been assigned to members in charge of various initiatives: Sridevi Kamma for women's empowerment, Pradeep Somavarapu for donation collection and membership, Srinivasa Rao for Web and Media, Satyanarayana Pavuluri for sports, and Krishna Chaitanya Ravipati for NATS-related responsibilities.

NATS Board Chairman Prasanth Pinnamaneni and NATSCO President Madanra Pamulapati encouraged the members of the Omaha chapter to continue their work, emphasizing that the service initiatives taken by NATS help foster a unique identity and are crucial for the well-being of future generations, especially the younger Telugu community.

NATS Marketing Vice President Bhanu Dhulipalla highlighted the importance of organizing programs that will bring the Telugu people in Omaha together. He urged NATS members and volunteers to ensure that the Telugu community in Omaha feels supported by NATS in times of need. Bhanu also mentioned the positive impact of the NATS Doctors Helpline, which has provided valuable second opinions to many individuals.

Ramakrishna Balineni, National Coordinator of NATS Membership, congratulated the Omaha team on their new chapter. During the event, the team was introduced to the attendees.

Muralidhar Chintapalli, Coordinator of NATS Omaha Chapter, shared that the chapter’s mission is to integrate all Telugu people in the area and engage them in meaningful community activities. The chapter also formed a student career counseling team, composed of Telugu professors from the University of Nebraska and senior local Telugu leaders.

Srinivasa Rao made the lunch arrangements for the event, and Srinivasa Rao Mallipudi expressed gratitude to all attendees. Special thanks were given to Rao Chigurupati, Hindu Temple President Sundar Chokkara, and Professor Dr. Phani for their support.

Krishna Chaitanya provided audio and video support for the event, while Sridevi Kamma contributed to the stage decoration. Pradeep Somavarapu and Satya Pavuluri launched the NATS membership drive and campaign during the event. The Omaha NATS Chapter expressed heartfelt thanks to Nawabi Hyderabad House and all the Telugu people in Omaha who helped make the event a success.
