Hatha Fusion Yoga, Breathwork and Meditation at Yoga Sanctum
The owner of Blue Lotus Yoga is Anjali Shelat. She is of East Indian descent her family heritage is Hindu Brahmins (spiritual class) and descends from grandfathers of Vaidyas (Natural Ayurvedic doctors). Her yoga incorporates traditional Indian practices including, mantras, music, traditional yoga asanas meditation and (Pranayama) breathing practices. She provides group, individual and corporate yoga classes as well as retreats. She specializes in incorporating traditional practices into yoga as well as the traditional Hindu system of medicine (Ayurveda) through offering cooking or nutrition focused classes. She also practiced Bollywood dance and is a Special Education Teacher by trade. Her 20 years of experience working with students with disabilities allows her to provide private yoga therapy to people with disabilities.
