At the time of tensions with China.. Presidential election polling started in Taiwan

Presidential election polling continues today in Taiwan. At the time of tensions with China.. these elections attracted the attention of the world.

 President Elections are being held today in Taiwan, which is trying to declare itself as a permanent independent country. Polling will start at 8 am and will continue till 4 pm. After that, the counting of votes will be done and the results will be announced.

There is a three-way fight in this election. Loi Ching Te from the ruling Democratic Progressive Party, Hu Yu Yi from the opposition Kuomintang Party and Ko Wen Ji from the Taiwan People's Party are in the presidential ring. These three exercised their right to vote in the early hours. A large number of voters participate in this election. Along with the new president and vice president, 113 legislators will be elected.
