Georgia, Atlanta: Over 2,000 attendees celebrated Diwali Halchal 2024 at Desana Middle School in Alpharetta on November 16. Hosted by Sruthi Chittoory of the Atlanta Indian Family (AIF) and Hetal Mehta of HNM Live Media, the event featured cultural performances, competitions, and festive activities for all ages.

The celebration, graced by notable guests including District 24 Representative Hon. Carter Barret and Dr. Florence Fasan, highlighted Diwali’s cultural significance. A kids’ costume contest based on Indian mythology and an art competition were among the key attractions.

A grand Maha Aarti, fashion shows, and thrilling raffle prizes also added to the excitement.

The event, sponsored by Patel Brothers, Moh Jewels, and others, was a hit with delicious food, shopping stalls, and nonstop entertainment, all offered for free.

The beautifully decorated venue and engaging performances made Diwali Halchal a true family celebration.
