Held in collaboration with partners like USAID, UNICEF, and First Lady Jill Biden, the benefit brought attention to alarming statistics. According to a recent report from Lancet Planetary Health, lead exposure is responsible for 5.5 million cardiovascular deaths annually and results in a loss of 765 million IQ points in children worldwide. Kej’s role as the event’s host embodied the intersection of his artistic talent and his commitment to activism.
