Philadelphia, USA: The North American Telugu Association (NATS) recently hosted a vibrant Children's Festival in Philadelphia, celebrating the talent of over 250 kids. Held at the Indian Temple Cultural Centre, the event marks the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and aims to foster creativity and leadership among Telugu children.
Competitions included traditional dance, music, film dance, mathematics, elocution, and painting, organized across three age categories. NATS awarded prizes to top performers, showcasing the children's diverse talents.
Key figures like NATS Executive Vice-President Harinath Bungatavula and Program Coordinator Ramana Rakothu played vital roles in the event's success. Local music and dance experts contributed to the event's success, which ran from 9 AM to 10 PM. Special thanks to Mahaksha Indian Flavour Restaurant for sponsoring the celebration.
