Shilpa Revuri was crowned 'Miss Empowering Universe 2023' in the competition held on the 11th anniversary of the 'Empowering Global Women Festival', organized by the US-based non-profit organization 'Empowering', funded by Menka Sony. She also secured the first runner-up position in 'Miss Elite India WA 2023'. Shilpa, a senior program manager at Microsoft from Adilabad, Telangana, participated for the first time and expressed gratitude to her supporters, including her husband Ram Revuri, friends Neeta Tuluri, Vinathi Khanna, Neeraja, and coaches Menka Soni, Shivani Singh, and Kavita Nandi Rama Rao. 

She aims to raise awareness about cancer and promote development and empowerment in small businesses. Shilpa sees her title as 'Empowering Universe 2023' as a reflection of her beliefs and is proud to be the brand ambassador of 'Empowering'. Despite facing challenges, she emphasizes the importance of perseverance and a positive attitude in overcoming obstacles. Shilpa, a believer in self-confidence, aims to inspire her children and others to rise resiliently after setbacks.
