Dallas, USA: The 209th literary conference of the North Texas Telugu Sangam (TANTEX), titled "Nela Nella Telugu Vennela," was held in Dallas on December 15. The event celebrated Telugu heritage and featured prominent speakers, including chief guest and senior journalist DP Anuradha.
Anuradha shared her extensive research on the Telugu diaspora, detailing her travels across Southeast Asia to study the roots of Telugu communities in countries like Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Thailand. She emphasized the preservation of Telugu language and culture and highlighted the historical connections of Telugu people with these regions.
The conference also featured Dr. Narasimha Reddy’s ongoing series “Mana Telugu Siri Sampada Sampadalu” and a tribute to Comrade Ramineni Sambasiva Rao, a champion of civil rights and literature. The event was attended by notable literary figures, including TANTEX president Satish Bandaru and coordinator Dayakar Mada, who spoke about the importance of preserving Telugu culture and literature for future generations.
