Indian Dubai NRI Father and Two Sons losses Lives in Kerala Road Accident

Yeshwanthpura: Three persons were killed in an ambulance-car collision at Kasaragodu on the Karnataka-Kerala border on Tuesday. The deceased have been identified as Srinath (54), a native of Guruvayur in Kerala's Thrissur district, and his sons Sharath (18) and Manan (15).

Srinath was working in Dubai and came to the village on holidays. His wife Smita runs an internet centre there. She was unable to accompany them as she was not feeling well. The trio had set out to meet their relatives in Bengaluru.

The three were on their way to Kollur Mookambika temple in a car when they were hit by a speeding ambulance coming from the opposite direction at Manjeswara. Both vehicles were hit by the accident. The father and son died in the car.

The driver of the ambulance and both suffered injuries. As the accident took place in the village, a large number of people gathered. Police reached the spot and shifted the bodies and victims to hospitals. The entire scene turned bloody and frightened. The relatives of the deceased lamented that Srinath's wife in the village had not yet been informed about this and that she did not expect such a tragedy to happen.
