Sankranti celebrations were held in Muscat, the capital of Oman. A splendid celebration was held for two days among the Telugu people settled in Oman and the Telugu dignitaries who came for them. The celebrations organized jointly by 'Royal King Holding' and 'Chiru Mega Youth Force' entertained everyone.

Celebrities who recently completed 50 years in the film industry.. Dr Maganti Murali Mohan was honoured on this occasion. The highlight of the ceremony was the honouring of the Kanjari, the national symbol of Oman, with a gold bangle around the waist. Tollywood producer and film distributor businessman Burra Prashant Goud along with founder president of CPYF Ramdas Chandaka conducted the ceremony. Dr Along with Murali Mohan, Tollywood actresses.. Rajitha, Madhumani, Pinky, Sonia Chaudhary, and TV actress Sanjana brought new art to Sankranti celebrations. Kumari Madhavi Reddy's anchoring for the celebrations was impressive.

Telugu children have not forgotten their social responsibility during Sankranti celebrations. Murali Mohan felicitated 30 young women who had donated blood more than 20 times so far.
