An Indian student was shot and killed in a car by a thug in Canada

An Indian student (24) was shot dead in Canada. The police have disclosed the details to this extent. The incident took place in South Vancouver, Canada. Locals saw a student named Chirag Antil lying unconscious in the car, The police were informed.

Donations are being sought through the crowdfunding platform 'GoFundMe' to bring Chigar's body to India.

Locals said that they also heard the sounds of gunshots. Police arrived immediately after the incident on East 55th Avenue Main Street. Currently, there have been no arrests made regarding this incident. The police have stated that the investigation is ongoing.  Responding to this, Varun Chaudhary, Chief of the National Students Union of India, Congress students' wing, made a post on X.   He asked the Ministry of External Affairs to help the student's family. He said that the focus should be on the ongoing investigation into the student's murder. Romit Antil, brother of Haryana's Cigar Antil, told the media that he used to talk to his brother every day even before he was killed.
