Suella Braverman Earns Over 20 Thousand Pounds for India Speech, Top UK Politician Income

Earlier this year, former UK home secretary Suella Braverman became one of the highest-paid politicians for her speeches around the world, thanks in part to a speaking engagement in India. Braverman, who has Goan roots, earned 20,520.60 from a leading Indian media organization in February. This amount covered both her and her husband's flight and accommodation expenses in India.

These earnings were disclosed in the House of Commons 'Register of Members Financial Interests' for 2024-25, which was published this month. The entry in the register states, "GBP 20,520.60 comprised of a payment of GBP 19,920.60 and accommodation for my husband and I valued at GBP 600."

In addition to her engagement in India, Braverman, 44, who was re-elected as MP for the Fareham and Waterlooville constituency in southeast England last month, earned 25,452.40 in April for speeches in Seoul, South Korea, from Chosun Media.

She also received significant earnings from a speech in London and a series of articles for the Telegraph Media Group.
