The threat of nuclear war with presidents like Putin: Biden

Washington: US President Joe Biden has once again made controversial remarks, this time insulting Russian President Vladimir Putin with vulgar language. Biden expressed concern about the threat of nuclear war and humanity's survival during a press conference in San Francisco on Wednesday. He stated, "As long as individuals like Putin, who act irrationally, are in power, the risk of nuclear war remains. Humanity's survival is at stake with such leaders." Additionally, Biden announced the imposition of new sanctions on Russia starting Friday.

During the press conference, Biden also criticized former US President Donald Trump. He attributed Trump's rhetoric to the death of Russian opposition leader Navalny and the legal issues Navalny faced. This marks another instance of Biden's ongoing criticism of Putin, especially in light of Russia's military actions against Ukraine. Biden has previously referred to Putin as a butcher and a war criminal on multiple occasions. The suspicious death of Russian opposition leader Navalny has been linked to Biden's criticisms.

Meanwhile, it is noteworthy that Putin recently commented on Biden, stating that Biden is preferable to Trump. Putin expressed Moscow's preference for Biden's victory in the upcoming presidential election scheduled for November this year.
