A tragic incident occurred where Sai Surya Avinash, a 25-year-old student from Andhra Pradesh, accidentally fell into a waterfall and lost his life.
Avinash, who was visiting Barbourville Falls in Albany, New York, with friends, stumbled and fell on July 7th.
The Indian Embassy in New York has confirmed the incident and is making arrangements to send Avinash's body back to India.
Avinash, originally from Chityala village in Gopalapuram Mandal, East Godavari district, was in the US to pursue his MS degree.
