According to police, a tow truck (aircraft towing vehicle) was moving the plane to another location on the taxiway when the accident took place. A 60-year-old driver was driving the vehicle while a Jordanian worker was sitting in the passenger seat. In the process, the person in the passenger seat fell and was hit by the plane behind him, killing him. The police believe that the accident happened because the seat belt was not worn.

Early in the morning, other staff found the worker lying unconscious on the taxiway and rushed him to the hospital. However, the doctors found that he had already died due to severe injuries.
