Germany Expands Visa Options for Skilled Indian Workers, PM Modi Announces

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that Germany has decided to expand its visa offerings for skilled Indian workers, reflecting confidence in their capabilities.

New Delhi: Germany will increase the number of visas available for skilled workers from India, raising the figure from 20,000 to 90,000. This announcement was made by Prime Minister Modi during the 18th Asia Pacific Conference of German Business. "We have developed a roadmap for a developed India over the next 25 years."

He expressed his satisfaction with the German Cabinet's release of a document titled "Focus on India." "Germany's decision to raise the visa quota for skilled Indian workers from 20,000 to 90,000 demonstrates remarkable trust in the Indian workforce. This decision will significantly benefit Germany's growth, as India has emerged as a manufacturing hub," Modi stated. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is visiting India for three days, having arrived on Thursday. "We are convening in the world's largest democracy, and India is the fastest-growing economy."
