Canada-India Diplomatic Crisis: Trudeaus Allegations Ignite Tensions

Relations with India have been strained ever since Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's remarks that Indian government agents were involved in the murder of pro-Khalistani activist Najjar. At the expense of these diplomatic ties, Trudeau continues to work on his mouth. At this juncture, another thing came to light. Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, leader of the banned Sikhs for Justice An old letter written to the Canadian Prime Minister has gone viral. In the letter, he sought his expulsion, alleging that Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma was involved in Nijjar's murder. If this expulsion does not happen immediately. "We fear that some more people may be harmed at the hands of Indian agents active in Canada," he said. Najjar is also said to be a peace-loving and law-abiding Canadian citizen.

Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was involved in several crimes ranging from murders to bomb blasts, took refuge in Canada with a false passport in the name of Ravi Sharma. The Canadian government, which has granted citizenship to this anti-India man, has been leveling baseless allegations against India in connection with his murder. The naming of the Indian High Commissioner and diplomats as suspects in the case have led to a major crisis between the two countries. Trudeau (Justin Trudeau) accused India of not cooperating with the investigation. Indian diplomats here have collected details of Canadians who disagree with Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government and have given them to those at the top level. He once again made objectionable remarks that they were being handed over to gangs of criminals like Lawrence Bishnoi.

However, when it was alleged that Indian government agents were involved in the case, he said that he had intelligence and no concrete evidence. India gave a strong counter to this. "What we have been saying for a long time in this matter (in connection with the Najjar murder case) has been proved today. Canada has not given us any evidence to support the serious allegations being made against our diplomats. "Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (Justin Trudeau) is solely responsible for the deterioration of relations between the two countries (India-Canada) at the moment," External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said in a statement.

In the wake of these developments, the Centre has decided to bring back Sanjay Kumar Verma and some other officials from there. It has also decided to expel six diplomats, including Canada's acting high commissioner in New Delhi. The letter from Pannu comes after Trudeau levelled allegations against India last year in connection with Nijjar's murder.
