What Reasons Led to Srikakulam Youths Being Stranded in Saudi Arabia Without Salaries

Several youths from Srikakulam district, including those from Ichchapuram, Palasa, Vajrapukotturu, and Santabommali mandals, are currently stranded in Saudi Arabia. These individuals were sent to the country by agents who took Rs 120,000 from each person, promising them jobs in the combustion industry.

After two months of hard work, however, they have yet to receive any salaries. The youths are now struggling to find basic necessities like food and water. Despite their efforts to contact the agents for help, they have received no response.

In an effort to address the issue, Union Minister Rammohan Naidu reached out to the victims, offering support to those working abroad in search of better opportunities.

Through a video call, Naidu reassured the stranded individuals and promised to assist them. He also stated that he would speak with the External Affairs Minister and take necessary steps to facilitate their return to India.
