However, his wife, Michelle Obama, reportedly wants him to step away from politics and spend more time with family.

Obama explained that Michelle hopes he would dedicate more of his life to personal and family matters after years in public service. He acknowledged that this difference in priorities has led to disappointment and tension at home.

Traditionally, former US presidents avoid active political engagement after leaving office. During the early phase of Donald Trump presidency, Obama largely stayed silent and refrained from publicly criticizing the administration. Over time, however, he gradually began speaking out against several Trump-era policies and political decisions.
