About 10,000 workers from India will go there in the next week as Israel's construction sector has been severely damaged due to the war with Hamas. Sources of the Israel Builders Association revealed on Wednesday that they will move in stages. Israel has banned the entry of Palestinian workers due to the conflict. Workers from other countries also left there because of the war. As a result, Israel's construction industry is facing a serious shortage of human resources. In this context, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu had a telephone conversation with Indian Prime Minister Modi last December. They discussed the arrival of workers from India. There are about 18 thousand Indians in Israel. They did not leave the country even during the war. In May last year, Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen visited Delhi. On that occasion, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel said in a statement that an agreement was reached between the two countries for 34,000 construction workers from India and another 8,000 hospital staff to work there.
