AP Students Guide: Dual-Degree Programs Abroad and Scholarships 2025

Washington, D.C., USA:  Andhra University in Andhra Pradesh has introduced a dual-degree engineering program in partnership with Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH) in Sweden. This initiative is attracting students looking for international exposure at a relatively low cost.

Krea University (AP) offers a 2+2 dual-degree model in collaboration with Macquarie University, Australia. Students spend the first two years at Krea University and then complete the next two years at Macquarie University, ultimately earning bachelor's degrees from both institutions.

SRM University-AP has an International Transfer Program that allows students to study the first two years in AP and then transfer to a foreign university to complete their degree.

Similarly, VIT-AP provides undergraduate programs in partnership with overseas universities. Students spend the first two years at VIT-AP and the following two years at partner universities abroad, following a dual-degree structure.

GITAM University has a Basic Twinning Program with the University of Melbourne, Australia. The initial two years are completed at GITAM in India, followed by two years in Melbourne, resulting in dual BSc degrees.

Important Note: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has cautioned Indian colleges and universities against engaging in unauthorized foreign collaborations. Dual, joint, or twinning programs that lack proper approval may not be recognized. Students are advised to confirm that their chosen program is UGC-approved before enrolling.
