A deadly stampede occurred at Barthelemy Boganda High School in Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic. The incident happened during the restoration of an electric transformer, which led to a massive explosion and panic.
At least 29 students were killed, and over 260 others were injured. Authorities said the injured are receiving treatment at various hospitals.
