A 51-foot Lord Ram idol, North America's tallest, was inaugurated at the Hindu Heritage Centre in Mississauga. Made in Delhi with a durable fiberglass and steel structure, it’s built to last a century and endure strong winds.
The event drew thousands, featuring hymns, cultural shows, and prasad. Led by Acharya Surinder Sharma Shastri Ji, the statue was inspired by Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir inauguration.
Canadian leaders and spiritual figures praised it as a symbol of faith and multicultural unity. The statue is set to become a key spiritual landmark in the region.
