GWTCS Marks Ugadi with Dance, Music, and Feasts in Washington DC

The Greater Washington Telugu Cultural Society (GWTCS) celebrated Ugadi 2025 in Washington DC, led by President Ravi Adusumilli. The event featured children's dance performances, traditional melodies, and a special program by Niraval Band, with a feast of Telugu dishes. Adusumilli highlighted the significance of safeguarding the Telugu language and culture. Having celebrated its golden jubilee last year, the GWTCS continues to be a vital platform for honoring Telugu festivals in America. Former TANA President Satish Vemana and other former Presidents praised the organization's growth. The executive committee, including Sushant Manne, Rajesh Kasaraneni, and others, thanked attendees and stressed the importance of honoring Telugu traditions.
