The Department of Posts announced that postal consignments to the US will be suspended from August 25 due to new tariffs under Trump’s policy.
Airlines have also stopped carrying parcels, affecting all bookings except letters, documents, and gifts up to $100. Customers with undelivered parcels can claim refunds.
The department apologized for the disruption and promised that measures are underway to resume services at the earliest.
