An Indian student pilot from Kerala, Sreehari Sukesh, died in a mid-air collision during training in Canada’s Manitoba province.

The fatal incident occurred when two small aircraft collided mid-air during landing practice, cutting short a young aviator’s aspirations.

The fatal crash occurred when two Cessna training aircraft, piloted by students, attempted to land at the same time near a small airstrip.

The Indian Consulate in Toronto confirmed Sukesh's identity and is coordinating with his family, the pilot school, and local police for support.

Harv's Air Training School president, Adam Penner, stated that despite having radios, the pilots did not see each other. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police confirmed both pilots died, with no passengers on board.
