Chicago, USA: TANA Board of Directors member and Kurnool NRI Foundation head Ravi Potluri donated Rs 10 lakh to Balabharathi School in Orvakallu mandal, Kurnool district, for the sixth consecutive year. The cheque was handed over by Kurnool Range DIG Dr. Praveen Koya to the school’s founder Vijayabharathi on Friday, August 29.

Potluri said the support aims to provide continuous education for orphans and appreciated the school’s service in rural areas. Dr. Koya praised the women who established the school and encouraged students to aim for AIS and APS services.

During the event, student Geeta received a Rs 5,000 cash prize for winning the Rajya Award in Scouts and Guides. Foundation coordinator Muppa Rajasekhar announced the upcoming Pratibha Puraskars to encourage local talent.

Several dignitaries, teachers, and students participated in the program.
