TANA Distributes Backpacks to 200 Students at Freehold NJ Schoo

Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: The North American Telugu Association (TANA) has once again demonstrated its commitment to community service. Members of TANA recently handed out backpacks to approximately 200 students at Freehold Borough School.

In New Jersey, the TANA team coordinated with school officials and local police to provide school bags and essential supplies to nearly 200 students. The initiative was aimed at supporting students as they prepare for the upcoming academic year.

TANA President Naren Kodali and Vice President Srinivas Lau led the efforts to host this charitable event, ensuring it reached the children of the local community. Special acknowledgment was given to TANA Treasurer Raja Kasukurthi, who played a key role in organizing the drive, as noted by TANA New Jersey Regional Representative Sudhir Chand Narepalupu and the school staff.

Other TANA representatives present during the event included Treasurer Raja Kasukurthi, Regional Representative Sudhir Chand Narepalupu, Youth Coordinator Srinivas Cherukuri, Foundation Trustees Srinivas Oruganti and Satish Meka, along with Sevaks Sudheer Ramapuram, Uma Ravi, Kiran Bhasana, Venkat Pusuluri, and Ramakrishna Cherukuri.

During the program, Freehold Borough School administrators and teachers commended TANA for its ongoing dedication to the community. They expressed their gratitude for selecting their school for the backpack distribution. Parents of the students also praised TANA for this meaningful contribution.
