TANA World Sahitya Vedike hosted a vibrant Telugu literary event in Dallas, featuring renowned poet Dr. Gorati Venkanna. Organized in collaboration with ATA, Data, D-Tabs, GTA, NATS, Tantex, and TYPod, the event saw an enthusiastic turnout.
Dr. Venkanna was honored with the title Mahakavi of our time, receiving a citation, crown, shawl, and bouquet in the presence of his family. Welcomed by Dr. Prasad Thotakura, Venkanna captivated the audience with a two-and-a-half-hour performance of songs like Gully is small and The Story of Garibolla. He praised Dr. Thotakura and the organizers for uniting various associations on one platform with love and dedication.
