Two Back-to-Back Tragedies

This unfortunate event follows closely on the heels of another loss. Just a day earlier, 28-year-old Chandrashekhar Pole, also from Hyderabad, was reportedly shot at a gas station in Dallas, Texas.

Chandrashekhar, a native of BN Nagar, had been working part-time to meet his expenses while pursuing higher education. He was fatally attacked by a robber during the early hours of Saturday.

An alumnus with a degree in Dental Surgery, Chandrashekhar had been enrolled in a Master’s program in Data Analytics at the University of North Texas in Denton since August 2023.

Leaders across political parties conveyed their condolences over his death. Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy promised assistance in repatriating the student’s remains to India.
