A US Navy warship shot down a ship-destroying cruise missile launched by Houthi rebels from Yemen in the Red Sea. Rebels fired this missile at US forces monitoring vital maritime transport. The attack took place on the USS Gravely on Tuesday night. Officials disclosed on Wednesday that no one was injured and the vessel was not destroyed. Houthi Rebels Spokesperson Yahya Shari said that they have launched several missiles and the US is not disclosing their details.
150 people died in 24 hours
The Ministry of Health revealed on Wednesday that 150 people were killed and 313 were injured in the 24-hour attacks by Israel on the northern area of Gaza. This brings the death toll in Gaza to 26,900. On the other hand, a fierce battle is going on between Hamas militants and Israeli forces in this area. Israel recently announced that they have killed 15 militants.
