The disappearance of a Telugu student in America is causing a stir. 25-year-old Rupesh Chandra Chintakindi from Telangana, who went to Chicago for higher education, has gone missing. The family members contacted the Indian embassy for his whereabouts. He is reported missing from the 4300 block of N Sheridan Road in Chicago.

Rupesh's parents, who are staying in Hyderabad, became worried as Rupesh's whereabouts were not found for a week. India has asked the Ministry of External Affairs to trace the whereabouts of their son. The Indian Embassy in Chicago has announced that they hope that Rupesh's whereabouts will be known soon. The Consulate General of India in Chicago said that Rupesh has been missing since May 2. It has been revealed that the police are constantly negotiating with expatriate Indians to trace him. The local police issued a statement asking anyone who knows the whereabouts of Rupesh to inform them immediately.
