On Monday night, the remains of five members of the family of Ponnada Nageswara Rao, who tragically lost their lives in a recent road accident in Texas, America, were repatriated to the Hyderabad airport. Subsequently, they were transported to their hometown via ambulances. Notably, all the deceased individuals are closely related to Mummidivaram MLA Satish Kumar, representing Amalapuram district.

Five dead bodies were kept in three special vehicles and a final procession was conducted from Amalapuram to Rajamahendravaram. MLA Satish Kumar, Ministers Vishwaroop, and Venugopalakrishna, public representatives, party leaders, activists, fans and close friends participated in this yatra. The final journey from Amalapuram to Kotilingalarevu in Rajamahendravaram was about 70 kilometres long. Later, the funeral was held at the dock. Along with them, the body of Visakhapatnam-based Barri Reiseld, who died in a road accident, was also taken to his native village from Hyderabad airport.
