Washington: The successive deaths of Indian students and those of Indian origin living in the United States of America are causing a stir. Another incident happened recently. A businessman of Indian origin was killed by an unknown assailant in a street brawl. This incident came to light late. According to the details disclosed by the authorities.
Vivek Taneja (41) is the co-founder of Dynamo Technologies, a technology solutions and analytical product provider providing technical support to the US government. He resides in Virginia. He went to a restaurant on February 2 and came out around 2 am. While walking down the street, there was a fight with an unknown person. As it got worse, the assailant attacked him. He indiscriminately knocked Vivek to the ground. He fell unconscious due to severe head injuries. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took him to the hospital. Vivek lost his life while undergoing treatment.
Based on the CCTV footage, the photo of the accused was released and a reward of 25 thousand dollars was announced. A search was launched for him.
