The superpower has been making a series of announcements on issues such as revitalization and issuance of US visas. How many visas have been issued to citizens of India and other countries in a short span of a few days? After that, it was revealed that a special drive was being conducted for H-1B visa renewal.
But recently, this year it has made some changes in the H-1B visa applications for the financial year 2025. Some new rules will be implemented. If you look at it once
♦The initial registration period for the financial year 2025 will start on March 6, 2024, and will end on March 21, 2024. This is called the Visa Initial Registration Period. During this short period, companies must submit electronic registrations for their employees who wish to sponsor H-1B visas.
US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) issues only 65,000 H-1B visas each year. It also provides these visas to 20,000 foreign students who have pursued higher education in America.
♦ It has been said that 65 thousand H-1B visas will be issued in this financial year 2025 also subject to the rules. The USCIS Division will begin accepting applications for H-1B visas beginning October 1 (fiscal year). Expires on September 30 next year.
♦From October, it will strengthen the H-1B visa registration process and implement new rules on visa issuances to reduce fraud.
♦Furthermore, USCIS officials suggest that H-1B applications may be denied or cancelled if applicants submit false certifications or attach invalid documents at the time of application for these visas.
♦ Especially this year, the H-1B visa application process will be simplified and the Organizational Accounts system will be introduced to check for fraud. The H-1B visa application process for employees of a company or business organization can be coordinated through these accounts with the respective business organizations and legal advisors. Through this account, you can easily apply for Form I-129 (I-129) for non-immigrant workers and Form I-907 (I-907) for Premium Processing Service.
USCIS Director M Jadau said that better services will be provided through this system and this is a step forward in making the H1B visa online application process easier.
♦After the introduction of online filing of I-129 and H-1B petitions, the entire H-1B application process will be completely electronic. USCIS Director M Jadau said that everything will be online from the registration till the final decision on the application is communicated to the State Department.
