Dallas, Texas, USA: Lokireddy Madhavi has been appointed as the new President of the North Texas Telugu Association (TANTEX). A native of Ongole in Andhra Pradesh’s Prakasam district, she will lead the organization during a significant milestone year as TANTEX celebrates its 40th anniversary, having been established in 1986. The announcement was made during a recent Governing Board meeting held in Dallas.
Addressing members after her appointment, Madhavi Lokireddy expressed gratitude for the trust placed in her. She stated that it was an honor to serve as President of an organization with a long-standing legacy in the Telugu community of North Texas. She emphasized her commitment to introducing new initiatives aimed at further strengthening the association and enhancing its standards.
The Executive Board for the year 2026 was also formally announced. Madhavi Lokireddy will serve as President, with Sunil Suraparaju as Vice President, L.N. Koya as Secretary, and Deepthi Suryadevara as Treasurer. Veera Lenin Tulluri was named Assistant Secretary, while Lakshmi Narasimha Popuri will serve as Assistant Treasurer. Uday Kiran Nidiganti was appointed Northern President, and Chandrasekhara Reddy Pottipati will continue as Immediate Past President.
The Executive Committee includes Dipika Reddy, RBS Reddy, Siva Reddy Vallur, Ravi Kadiri, Arpita Obula Reddy, Anitha Muppidi, Parthasarathy Gorla, Shanti Noothi, Mallikarjuna Murari, Pawan Narra, Kamalakar Deverakonda, and Venkat Bolla. Dayakar Mada was named Chairman of the Governing Body, while Jyothi Vanam will serve as Vice Chairperson of the Governing Council. Members of the Governing Council include Srinath Vattam, Srinath Reddy Palavala, Raja Reddy, Praveen Billa, and Kalyani Tadimetti.
Madhavi Lokireddy stated that, with the cooperation and innovative ideas of the newly formed governing and executive teams, TANTEX aims to organize meaningful and engaging programs throughout 2026. She expressed confidence that the continued support and goodwill of the local Telugu community would further strengthen the organization’s outreach.
Outgoing President Chandrasekhara Reddy Pottipati, who will complete his term in 2025, assured his full support to the incoming executive committee. Madhavi Lokireddy also conveyed her sincere thanks to all distinguished guests and community leaders who attended the swearing-in ceremony and extended their congratulations.
