Tantex, a North Texas Telugu association promoting Telugu language, literature, and culture, grandly organized the Sankranti celebrations. The expats celebrated with family members at Reidy High School in Frisco. The program was successfully organized under the leadership of the president of the organization, Satish Bandaru. During Sankranthi celebrations, Tantex has undertaken many programs without forgetting the traditions of Telugu culture.

Sankranti songs and muggles graced the stage along with the most beautiful puppets. Children's cultural programs stole the hearts of the audience. Famous singers Srikanth and Deepthi were impressed with their voice. A festive atmosphere was created by organizing programs to highlight the greatness of Sankranti. On this occasion, many competitions were organized and prizes were distributed. Many stalls set up on the occasion of Sankranti received a great response.

The voluntary and cultural programs conducted under the organization were explained. Leaders of the North American Telugu Association Nats participated and spoke in the program. He said that Nats celebrations are being held in March. The members of the organization requested everyone to participate and make the Nat Telugu celebrations in Dallas a success. The organizers expressed their happiness that the Sankranti celebrations were held grandly. He thanked the donors who contributed to the organization and everyone who made this program a success.
