Saudi Arabia Cracks Down on Illegal Migrants Ahead of Hajj 2025

Riyadh: As the annual Hajj pilgrimage approaches, Saudi Arabia is taking strict action against illegal migrants. The pilgrimage is expected to take place between June 4 and 9. In this context, Saudi Arabia has intensified its crackdown on those violating security regulations.

Between March 27 and April 2, authorities arrested 18,407 individuals. Out of these, 1,260 people were caught attempting to illegally enter the country, while 67 others were apprehended trying to leave the country unlawfully.Saudi officials have warned that heavy fines will be imposed on those who assist illegal entrants into the country. The government reiterated its commitment to uphold security and ensure a safe Hajj season.
