According to information shared with a media outlet by two people familiar with the process, nearly 6,000 immigrants' Social Security numbers are being revoked, preventing them from working in the United States or accessing any services or benefits.To access banking services and other essential services, Social Security numbers are mandatory. The government has canceled the legal status of immigrants using the CBP One app.
