40 Israeli Jets Bomb Irans Nuclear Site, Conflict Intensifies

Tensions between Iran and Israel have escalated sharply, transforming West Asia into a volatile conflict zone. In a significant offensive, the Israeli Air Force launched a massive airstrike on Iran’s Arak heavy water nuclear reactor, deploying 40 fighter jets and dropping 100 bombs. Satellite visuals reveal extensive damage, including a gaping crater in the reactor structure.

The IDF confirmed the attack targeted the reactor believed to produce weapons-grade plutonium. Though currently inactive, Israel claimed it aimed to prevent the site from being used for nuclear weapons development. The IAEA confirmed the explosion but said no nuclear material was present.

The reactor, intended for civilian use by 2026, was undergoing minor construction. Despite no radiation risk, residents near the site were urged to evacuate. Israel also attacked 40 other sites across Iran, including missile strikes on a centrifuge factory crucial for uranium enrichment.
