Canada is taking new measures to send foreign immigrants, including many Indians, out of the country. Due to significant delays in visa renewals, immigrants are losing their work permits, and obstacles are arising in their efforts to maintain legal status. Despite paying taxes, these immigrants will not be able to work legally unless they obtain proper documentation. They will also lose access to medical services and other facilities.

Local residents have been strongly protesting due to issues caused by the increasing number of immigrants, such as housing shortages and rising rent prices. In response to these concerns, the government has decided to reduce the number of immigrants coming into the country.However, the ruling Liberal government had previously announced that it would provide status to undocumented individuals. After a shift in policy, the government clarified that it would only offer this to certain people working in specific sectors.
