China rejected Donald Trump’s 10% tariff threat against BRICS-aligned nations, emphasizing the bloc isn’t anti-America and opposing tariff wars.
Trump’s warning followed the BRICS 2025 Summit in Brazil, where the 10-member group condemned US-Israel strikes on Iran, criticized rising tariffs, and called for global trade stability.
Trump accused BRICS of anti-US bias and said tariff letters to 12 countries were ready ahead of the July 9 tariff pause deadline.
The summit also condemned the Gaza war and the Pahalgam terror attack in J&K, urging action against cross-border terrorism.
