Frisco, Texas, USA: The North American Telugu Association (NATS) recently joined hands to promote environmental conservation in Dallas under the motto, "Language is Love, Service is Destination." The organisation successfully organised the "Adopt a Park" event at Monarch View Park in Frisco, facilitated by the Dallas Chapter of NATS.
Over 40 parents and students actively participated in the initiative, planting and watering trees to enhance the greenery behind the hill. During the program, officials from the Frisco Parks Department guided children on maintaining cleanliness and protecting the environment. Experts highlighted that this initiative plays a key role in supporting habitats for butterflies.

For the last six months, the Dallas chapter of NATS has officially adopted Monarch View Park, conducting regular environmental activities. Students have been encouraged to participate as partners in these efforts. Beyond promoting cleanliness and tree planting, the Dallas Chapter has successfully planted over 2,000 trees in the park.

City of Frisco officials acknowledged and appreciated NATS’s consistent contributions, honouring 25 youth volunteers for their involvement in the program. The event was attended by Frisco Parks Department Officer Crystal and environmental advocates Rick and Laura. Coordination for the program was managed by NATS representatives Bapu Nuti, Rajendra Madala, Ravi Tandra, Kishore Nare, Swapna Katragadda, Shravan Nidiganti, and Shiva Madhav.

Speakers at the event emphasised that the Dallas Chapter of NATS plans to continue similar community service and environmental initiatives in the future. Prashant Pinnamaneni, Chairman of NATS, and Srihari Mandadi, President of NATS, congratulated all participants for their dedication and efforts.
