Emergency Landing in Turkey: Over 200 Indians Stranded After London-Mumbai Flight Diverted

A flight from London to Mumbai made an emergency landing in Turkey due to a medical emergency. As a result, over 200 Indian passengers have been stranded at Diyarbakir Airport in Turkey since Wednesday night. The Virgin Atlantic flight, which departed from London to Mumbai, had to make an unscheduled landing at Diyarbakir Airport due to technical issues.

According to reports, some technical problems occurred during the landing. Because of this, passengers were not allowed to leave the airport premises. Over 200 Indian passengers are stuck there for nearly 20 hours, and there is still no clarity on when they will reach Mumbai. The airline has not yet issued any official statement regarding this incident.

Currently, passengers are reportedly facing difficulties due to the lack of proper facilities. Since the airport is located in a military base area, they are not permitted to leave. The passengers have requested authorities to arrange travel to their destination as soon as possible.
