Four Dead In Arizona Air Ambulance Crash On Navajo Nation

A medical transport plane operated by CSI Aviation crashed and caught fire near Chinle Municipal Airport on Tuesday, killing all four medical personnel on board. Around 12:40 pm, the Beechcraft 300 crashed during its landing approach while on a mission to retrieve a patient from a nearby medical facility.

All victims were “non-local” medical staff, according to Navajo Nation President Buu Nygren, who called the incident heartbreaking and praised the victims' dedication to saving lives. Emergency responders quickly reached the scene.

The FAA and NTSB are investigating the crash, and CSI Aviation is cooperating while notifying the victims' families.
