India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on Chinese Products to Protect Domestic Market

India has imposed anti-dumping duties on five products imported from China. The products include vacuum insulated flasks, aluminum foil, soft ferrite cores, trichloro isocyanuric acid, and polyvinyl chloride paste resin. These products were being imported into India from China at prices lower than the normal market price.

As a result, the Ministry of Finance and Customs Department issued a notification announcing the implementation of anti-dumping duties on these items. The measure aims to protect Indian industries from unfair trade practices and ensure that imports do not harm the domestic market.

The anti-dumping duty will be levied on the specified Chinese products to bring their prices in line with the market standards, thereby ensuring fair competition for Indian manufacturers.
