India has stepped forward to assist Myanmar and Thailand, which were severely affected by powerful earthquakes. Prime Minister Modi assured support on Friday, and following his directive, the Ministry of External Affairs took swift action. Around 15 tons of relief materials were dispatched to Myanmar, transported via a special C130J aircraft of the Indian Air Force from Hindon Air Force Station. The aid includes essential food supplies, temporary shelters, tents, sleeping bags, water purifiers, solar lamps, generators, and emergency medical equipment.
On Friday afternoon, Myanmar and Bangkok were shaken by strong earthquakes, causing widespread destruction. Several buildings collapsed, leading to the death of at least 700 people, while hundreds sustained injuries. Thousands remain trapped under the debris.Rescue operations are currently underway, with emergency teams working tirelessly to save those affected. The situation remains critical as efforts continue to provide relief and support to the victims.
